Lorena Friger, Esq. is an associate attorney at The Hernandez Legal Group, focusing her practice on Property & Casualty Claims and Real Estate Law.
Mrs. Friger attended Florida International University and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature, Cum Laude. She then earned her Juris Doctor Degree from Florida International University College of Law, in December 2017. While in law school, Mrs. Friger received the CALI excellence award in Criminal Law and Family Law.
During law school, Mrs. Friger had the honor of serving as a judicial intern at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida for the Honorable Norma Lindsey. Additionally, Mrs. Friger worked as a law clerk at private law firms where she obtained experience in areas such as Property & Casualty Claims, Personal Injury Protection, Real Estate Law, and Family Law and served as a teaching assistant for Dean Louis Schulze, Jr. at Florida International University School of Law.
Mrs. Friger actively served our community by volunteering for several organizations for numerous causes such as to aid the homeless, children with special needs, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipients, and other important causes. Mrs. Friger was also a member of the Carlos A. Costa Immigration & Human Rights Clinic, while simultaneously working for the Immigrant Children’s Justice Clinic at Florida International University School of Law.
Mrs. Friger is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and is admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
When Mrs. Friger is not working or serving her community, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
